Thank you from the Ukrainian Settlement Helpers Ottawa

Please see the message below from the Ukrainian Settlement Helpers Ottawa:

Thank You St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic ES!

Thank you so much for choosing to give your amazing collection of items to my organization, Ukrainian Settlement Helpers Ottawa. We will use the items for our Welcome Bags that we give to newly arrived Ukrainians. The supplies that you have given will fill many bags, now using the great Costco backpacks that you gave to us. Although the Welcome Bags are just a small gesture to show Ukrainians we support them, they really appreciate it. They are amazed that strangers are doing this for them. Here are a few comments we’ve received from some hosts: “After two weeks, my guests are still talking about how wonderful this gesture is.”; “My guests have appreciated it so much.” ; “So fantastic. My guest is thrilled with everything!” and from a guest, “My family and I are very surprised to get a heartwarming gift from Ukrainian Settlement Helpers Ottawa Group! Thank you a lot! It is very cute and helpful! We are really excited and grateful!” A few weeks ago, a 79 year old woman had tears in her eyes when I gave her her Welcome Bag. Thank you for helping bring some comfort to these people in need and showing them Canadians care.
